In 2020 I produced a children's book for RSPCA Sunderland, Hartlepool and South Tyneside featuring a Guinea Pig called Tot. I was subsequently asked to provide illustrations for the story of a stricken seal and its rescue, care and release by RSPCA volunteers and staff.
As with designing our guinea pig in an earlier story, great care was taken to study seals to keep enough realism in the cartoon illustration we established with the previous book. - as the RSPCA has very strict guidelines on the representation of animals.
It was once again a joy to create illustrations for such an important charity.
