What a special project to be involved with. This unique event - 2 sold out shows at o2 Newcastle City Hall celebrating 40 years of the beloved TV series - featured memories, anecdotes and music from the cast and crew.
The AWP fansite (who I had previously collaborated with on artwork for their merchandise) worked tirelessly to bring this event together.
Stands and t-shirts
As well as designing the posters event literature, i was asked to create an illustrated life-size stand featuring the iconic pose of the cast from the first series to be used as a photo opportunity at the venue, as well as creating t-shirt designs featuring the event branding to be sold as merchandise..
The event was a sell out success. Massive thanks to the producers, cast and crew for putting this unique show together. All profits made from the event went to the Sunday for Sammy Trust and FACT (Fighting All Cancers Together). An unforgettable experience that raised over £87,000 for charity.
